The Beijing CAAS Agricultural Development Foundation is a charitable entity initiated by the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS) and officially registered at the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Civil Affairs in 2019. The initial fund is 5 million yuan from Beijing ZhongGu Biological New Technology Co. Ltd.

　　The Foundation works to fund agricultural research and education projects to promote modern agriculture in China. All its activities are charitable and not for profit. The Foundation manages and uses donations received by CAAS and its affiliated institutions as a whole, following donors’ wishes and in accordance with national laws and regulations.  

　　The donations will be used to establish the following funds for agricultural research and education: the Talent Award Fund, the Achievement Award Fund, the Facility Improvement Fund, the Discipline Construction Fund, the International Communication Fund, the World Agricultural Award Fund, and other funds entrusted by donors, CAAS or its affiliated institutions.

　　We are committed to make each dollar count with respect to donors’ wishes and adhere to the principle of charity. We believe that our leading talent pool and cutting-edge agricultural science and technology will help bring a win-win result for all parties.
